It is a public record indexed by data brokers within hours. For some directors that is fine; for high-profile, regulated or family-safety contexts it is not. Only you can judge which group you sit in, so weigh it before you file.
02 Can I switch my registered office mid-year? +
Yes, Companies House lets you file form AD01 at any time and the change is free. AddressSnap does not file it for you. Remember to tell your bank and HMRC about the new address afterwards.
03 Will the accountant address change my tax position? +
No. Registered office is administrative, not where the company is managed. Accountant addresses do not move where you pay tax.
